The location was exceptional. The hotel was beautiful. The service was absolutely superb, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of options. The gardens were delightful, it was such a pleasure to relax in them.

The swimming pool was very cold, unfortunately we were unable to swim, which was a little disappointing. The pool itself was a fabulous size.

From the moment we checked in we were made to feel so welcome by the exceptional staff on reception. We would like to give a special mention to Ilenya who heads up the front desk. She along with Yuliya always had a warm smile and no request was difficult for either of them as they handled each one with aplomb! Along with Alfredo and Andrea it was a most professional front desk. The quality and presentation of food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was faultless. We ate dinner in the restaurant for eight out of the nine nights we stayed there. We loved the magnificent pool and surroundings. The pool and bar staff were faultless. The housekeeping was also excellent.

The only complaint we have was the lack of service at times in the breakfast room. When one made a simple request for something like water or milk, it at times took up to 15minutes for a response. We do not say this lightly but given that the hotel overall was exceptional we felt the waiting staff let the rest of the team down by their inconsistent service.
