We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Florida. What makes this place so special is its wonderful atmosphere – peaceful, charming and authentically Italian. Having dinner surrounded by citrus trees, with orange branches literally reaching onto the terrace, was simply magical.
The pool area is beautiful and absolutely spotless – a perfect place to relax. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean, including the rooms and all common areas, and you can really see how much care is put into maintaining the property.
Breakfast was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and we loved the calm, relaxed atmosphere of the hotel.
But the greatest asset of Hotel Florida is undoubtedly its staff. Everyone we met was genuinely warm, smiling, helpful and welcoming. They made us feel truly looked after throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Matteo – absolutely fantastic!
Hotel Florida has that rare combination of beautiful surroundings, impeccable cleanliness and wonderful people that makes you genuinely sad to leave. We would happily come back!
Swimming pool open 9:30-18:30, opening hours could potentially cover also morning or evening, otherwise it's difficult to explore the city and use it at the same day

The hotel and our room were nice and clean. The hotel staff were brilliant, very helpful and professional. The breakfast was nice and the bar is quite well stocked. Having the shuttle service available in the morning was very handy.
Location wasn't great and is quite a trek along a very busy road with tiny sidewalks. Taking a taxi wasn't an option at the prices taxis charge in Sorrento and the shuttle service doesn't run all day. The hotel lacks some basic conveniences such as clothing hooks in the room, kettle or coffee machine, a modern safe and the pool closes at 6:30. After a long hot day site seeing we couldn't have a dip in the pool which was a shame.

Great location to be abel to explore Sorrento, shuttle bus into town and nice 20 minute walk back to the hotel. The restaurant, both pool side and the lemon grove restaurant were excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great location and hotel to explore beautiful Sorrento
