Apollonion Palace

This is a historic hotel full of character. Sophia at the reception is impeccable, so warm and attentive, she made our two nights in Syros truly wonderful.

Beautiful location right on the water and a few minutes walk to town. Rooms are beautiful. Sophia was so welcoming and helpful as were the rest of the staff. I wish I had stayed longer

Good location

We found this to be quite a strange hotel. The decoration is cheap and shabby. None of the outside tables in the breakfast area is shaded in the morning and the inside breakfast area is shabby and a bit depressing. The swimming platform felt quite dangerous on the days we were there. But worst of all we had 25 hours with very little internet connection. This last problem was eventually addressed but not before we felt we had to move hotels to ensure a reliable internet connection. Staff were very apologetic but unfortunately this didn’t get us connected so we couldn’t work and couldn’t rely on a future connection.
