Mare Beachfront Rooms Himare

Where do I begin. Complete perfection. Andreas was excellent with communication from the date of booking all the way through to after checkout. Check in was after hours - but the lovely Maria waited around for us, and even gave us a piece of her homemade orange cake 🤤 which we ended up devouring daily each time she saw us! She looked after us so well during our stay and was such a beautiful woman. To be honest, the entire staff looked after us and were all so beautiful and caring. Anything we needed, any questions we had, they were there. I lost my drivers license after I departed and they completed a full sweep of the place to help me find it after I had left… not to mention I accidentally left my dress in the wardrobe after checkout, and they came running down the street after me to return it to me! You won’t find better people anywhere in the world. The location of the apartments is excellent, it’s close to bars, restaurants, markets, beach clubs - everything is within walking distance, we didn’t use our car once for our whole stay, as we were able to walk everywhere. The room had the most stunning ocean views. And it was so quiet and peaceful, we did not hear a single thing from staff or other guests during our stay. Complete bliss. The beds are big and very comfortable. There’s enough space for luggage, wardrobes, a fridge AND A PROPER COFFEE MACHINE! Rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced daily. All amenities I can think of were provided. There was nothing missing during our stay. I highly rate this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in himare. If you’re undecided, I urge you to just book this one. I promise you will not be disappointed by the rooms, the location, the facilities, or the people. 10/10, highly recommend!

That I couldn’t stay longer :( I honestly felt so sad leaving. This place was magic.

The view of the room overlooking the ocean was incredible as well as the private beach below. The room overall was very spacious and clean. The location was outside of the city center but very walkable (10-15min) to the center. It also had many beach clubs and restaurants nearby (within a 5 min walk). The host was very hospitable and helpful - we did use mainly google translate to communicate.

The only improvement would be the bathroom. It's a bit difficult to shower because there's no enclosed shower so the water gets all over the floor.

Perfect location With a little private beach.

The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The owner made orange cake that was delicious that she brought both days. There was also coffee in the room which was nice. And the view and location was fabulous!

Overall comfort was lacking. The bathrooms were very small, the mattresses were old and uncomfortable. While the location and views were nice, the beachbeds were uncomfortable and old, and the private beach space was limited. If they invest more in the future, this would be a fantastic spot.
