Hotel Neuvice

Breakfast is wonderful- my favorite thing about this place. It is charming and centrally located. I reserved one more day with booking.com than I needed by mistake. The hotel refunded it- which I didn't expect and was wonderful of them.

You have to climb steep, ancient stairs. This is charming, but might be difficult for some people. The entrance door is aways locked and you have to use your electronic key- twice after hours. This might be tricky for some people.

Stunning and very spacious rooms in an impressively restored ancient building. Excellent beds, very well sound proofed.

The breakfast was mediocre for the €20 price tag. Would have been nice if the staff that was tasked with making the fresh coffee to bake some bacon&eggs too.

It is a unique, boutique property with old world feel, but modern amenities. The gas fireplace in the lobby was cozy and elegant.

staff underwhelming. room; carpets were dirty. smells from the kitchen started at 5:30 am with coffee. croissant at 7am and 9 meat. electric went out on our last morning for hours and we were in the dark for showers and no compensation no even a sorry. fireplace!? maybe light it up on a raining day during checkin hours. only time we saw it light up was when staff were there with friends!!! when power goes out maybe offer some free coffee from the bf room since we could not make any in the room. FAIL.
