La Casona Hotel Boutique

The location was unbeatable. It was perfectly central. This meant it was close to tour meeting points, the Witch's Market, Murillo Plaza, good eating venues, and other places of interest. For the most part, the staff was friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant was convenient and nice. I particularly liked the avocado and fried cheese sandwich. The drinks in the restaurant's bar section were good too. The room was large. The bedding was substantial and comfortable. A little more heating would have been nice.

The hotel lacked an elevator, but the staff eagerly helped carry luggage up and down the stairs. The breakfast coffee was consistently horrible for several days. Even when freshly made, it tasted stale, burnt, and exceedingly bitter. It was not drinkable. The scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were runny, but maybe that is just how they are made in Bolivia. I don't know. The toilet flush was very weak. The rooms weren't very warm, and a little more heat would have been nice.

Should supply more shower soap and shampoos , some nights were noisy due to people coming late and slamming doors

In clean bathroom for the price. Moldy shower
