Absolutely beautiful central property that was very nostalgic. Our room was very spacious-lovely,raised ceiling with seating area and private bathroom.

There was a lot of choice at breakfast but some items were cold and stale.

🏛️❤️ PATIO DE PIEDRA — LA PAZ, BOLIVIA 🇧🇴 What a stay! ❤️❤️❤️ We absolutely loved Patio de Piedra. First of all, the location is fantastic — very central and incredibly convenient, with the cable car stations, San Francisco Church and Parliament Square all within walking distance. But what really captured our hearts was the beautiful architecture. ❤️❤️ A historic building with around 400 years of history, beautifully transformed into a hotel. We absolutely loved the decorations, furniture and all the little details throughout the property. We actually enjoyed simply walking around the hotel, discovering those little architectural touches and admiring how the old character had been preserved. It felt like staying somewhere with a story rather than just another hotel. And then there was the staff. ❤️ Everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful, but I especially want to mention Mr Hernon Whenever we needed guidance about exploring La Paz, he explained everything thoroughly, patiently and carefully. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy the city and make the most of our stay. One little moment really stayed with us. ❤️ When we were trying to get to the cable car station, Hernon even offered us his own card to help us. We didn’t accept it, but honestly, it was the gesture that touched us. It showed us what a big heart he has. ❤️ Thank you, Herron, for looking after us so kindly. ❤️❤️❤️ Patio de Piedra gave us a beautiful place to stay, a wonderful location, fascinating history and, most importantly, people who made us feel genuinely welcome. Absolutely loved our stay! 🇧🇴❤️❤️❤️

The location is great and the staff are fabulous. A great little restaurant downstairs. Heating worked fine.

Hot water was sporadic and breakfast was a little on the sparse side. We couldn’t open a window so left bedroom door open to get air on warm days.

Il check-in alle 3 Pm per una città che per la maggior parte delle persone è solo di passaggio è davvero troppo tardi. Un’anticipazione di solo 1 ora costa circa 20 USD, senza la possibilità di spostare la colazione al giorno del check-in. Inoltre, i prezzi delle bibite all’interno sono esagerati. Pulizia non proprio top, considerando il prezzo. Segnalo, poi, la totale inutilità dello staff dell’hotel nell’aiutarci a prendere puntualmente un van/taxi per l’aeroporto (cosa per nulla banale a La Paz), con la strada davanti all’ingresso chiusa per lavori. Alla mia richiesta hanno solo risposto con il prezzo (troppo alto) senza dire nè come nè dove.
