super nice tuscan villa! is like been on a palace! everyone was friendly and is on a great location to work in prato or explore artimino and carmigniano! the wine and antipasto serve was fantastic, as was the breakfast

The owner is friendly, helpful and very efficient. The room was lovely with stunning views over the plain towards Florence. The main rooms (dining, lounge etc) are truly stunning with beautiful painted frescoes and tasteful decoration. There is a very pretty garden with pool and lounging area. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Chiara is an exceptional hostess, nothing is too much trouble, you only had to ask. The setting is an old, former Villa with beautiful frescos in the sitting room. A patio area with seating and lower down a pool. We loved it.

Great opportunity to stay at an authentic Tuscany villa rather than a generic hotel. The villa is beautiful, room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy (not too soft). Breakfast was very good, nice selection of pastries and fruit, eggs are prepared fresh per your request. There is also a small pool you can use. Our host was super nice and helpful.

The room could use some soundproofing (we heard some noise from the hallway through the door) but considering this is an old villa, it's understandable.

Our stay at Le Farnete On our second leg of our Italy trip we stayed at Le Farnete a B&B west of Florence. We drove up from Rome so seeing the country side was a treat. Tuscany is a beautiful region. Chiara, who is the new owner of the B&B (we wish her the best of luck) told us it was about 500 years old. She was very nice and helped us with all our needs. We had a very nice breakfast from eggs to delicious pastries every morning. We woke up to roosters and it was so nice. You can see the old time architecture. There was secure gated parking. There was a pool there but wasn’t open yet. The common area’s had the high painted ceilings. Our room had modern amenities with old style charm. We were surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The town of Comeana was close and quite charming. The people we very nice and willing to help even though the language difference. We had a great stay and brought home a lot of wonderful memories. WiFi was spotty in our room. screens on the bedroom windows would be nice.

The property is amazing, beautiful rooms and atmosphere. The staff was really friendly Also teh breakfast was nice.

Wi-Fi didn’t work well, I was working and had to use 4G most of the time. there was someone there working to improve it the day I left, so I hope it will be better in the future. if you are traveling on vacation and don’t need Wi-Fi that much it should be fine 😊

Charming villa from the 14th century but updated with all modern amenities. What a fantastic view from the window! Linen was superior to all my latest travels, really nice cotton. Appreciated that they made the conscious decision not to include items that cannot be laundered such as “decorative” pillows or blankets that never get washed and are unsanitary. Chiara was a sweetheart helping me with my luggage up the stairs. She was willing to go out of her way literally to assist with a last minute request that I failed to communicate in advance. The location is easy to reach from/back to Florence via taxi (about €50) but it is hard to navigate Tuscany without a car/driver as there are no local taxis or Ubers. This was the case for friends who stayed in other villages nearby, as well. Chiara was charming and hospitable!

We were blown away by the charm and beauty of Villa La Farnete. Stunning hand painting ceilings and walls. The breakfast was delicious and Tiara the manager was absolutely lovely, no ask was too big. She went the extra mile and helped locate good restaurant spots around the area we were visiting that locals would opt for rather than something touristy. The room was clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. For something a stones throw from Florence, it was beautiful.
