The pool, beautiful scenery and amazing hospitality by the hosts.

This was ideally placed just outside Siena. the hosts could not have been more helpful and were very keen to check everything was OK. the pool was brilliant, the space inside and outside was very good. the local village had all facilities needed for breakfasts, supermarket shopping and evening gelato stops!!
Minor point and it is subjective. the mattresses were a little harder than we are used to, but that should not detract from and excellent holiday place

The villa is in a fabulous location (peaceful with views but within a very short car journey to restaurants, coffee shop, local shops and supermarket. The villa is really spacious in every aspect both inside and out, living space and bedrooms. The pool is a great size. Great base to explore the area and so close to Siena you can easily go back as often as you want. The hosts were amazing - perfect for us and our friends!
The kitchen is very traditional rural Tuscan - so don't expect modern, hi-specification facilities - but it does have everything you need to self-cater and has a separate utility room. There should be a picture of it so you know what to expect and then it won't be a disappointment - so don't let the kitchen put you off otherwise you will be missing out!!!

we liked the location, the views, that there was plenty of space. The pool was secluded and a great size.
the bedrooms were spacious and it had three bathrooms
the whole place was tired and in need of a significant refresh - decor and furnishings
the kitchen, whilst clean and functional, was disappointing and looks like it hasn't changed for probably 30 years. it should have a proper oven, not an electric plugin version.
I would urge the owners to put in an up-to-date modern kitchen.
