Staff were not very helpful and didn't seem invested in the property and we thought it was expensive for what we had. Its a good location and clean enough, but really we would have liked better.

We like the location and the atmosphere.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, and the location was perfect. The rate was reasonable. Altogether, I'm very glad we stayed at Hennessey House.
Just minor things, such as no tissue paper in the room.

Unfortunately, a recent change in ownership has caused some disorganization in the daily regime. For example, the advertised afternoon wine time was not provided and, due to understaffing, breakfast was severely delayed.

Loved that the room we stayed in came with a spa tub. Those are hard to find. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was great. It's walking distance to downtown.

Charming house centrally located. Hosts were delightful.
The bed was not the most comfortable, and the carpeting needs to be switched out, preferably to hard wood, especially if the original is under there.

The breakfasts were delicious! Lorri was so kind and was very accommodating. My husband has gluten sensitivities and she made sure his selections were gluten-free.
The only wish I have is for a king sized bed. But other than that it was perfect!!

Beautiful, comfortable place to be. Perfect location , just close enough to town but not too close ! Very nice people!

Breakfast was great
The air conditioner was so loud going off and on we didn’t sleep for two night! 😞

The breakfast was absolutely delicious as were the freshly baked cookies upon arrival and the wine and cheese in the early evening. We also loved the sauna. The couple running the bed and breakfast could not have been kinder or more welcoming. They were covid safe, very attentive and went above and beyond as I left something behind and they helped get it back to me. Highly recommend.
Absolutely nothing! We loved our visit.
