Slavija Culture Heritage Hotel

Fantastic location- right in the centre of the old town.

Breakfast could have been better.

The location of the hotel is excellent and I appreciated its historical significance built above a part of Diocletian’s Palace. The room was well appointed.

The location was absolutely fantastic. Right in the middle of the historic city, it allowed for an easy walk to everything you'd want to see and was super convenient for quick breaks in between, to use facilities or drop off shopping. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They answered any questions and made sure you had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable, there were many hangers in the closet (not just 2 for show) und rooms were cleaned daily. They also provided products like shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. Breakfast was made to go if you had an early start and they provided beach towels. Although both of these things should be made more obvious (put it in the folder in the room), I only found out by accident about the beach towels.

The breakfast was very basic and there was no variety. The same bread and spreads every day. The room had too few outlets inconveniently placed. No hooks in the bathroom and my window was right next to the air con units outside, so it was super loud and I could never open it.
