It has a warm family feeling with amazing views and the food in the restaurant is stunning. The shuttle service to the lifts is a bonus as the walk with skis, etc. would be hard work but if walking for shopping or dining, it’s great.

The bed was too hard for us and the pillows weren’t great although lovely fresh bedding.

Fantastic buffet breakfast. Very spacious room. Exceptionally clean hotel. Everything is very well run and well looked after. Very hands on owners who are involved with every aspect fo the hotel.

Friendly welcome from Mira at reception on arrival and from all the staff on duty . There are thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. The service was faultless throughout our 2 days and a packed breakfast was offered for our early departure which was a lovely gesture. The hotel breakfast spread was incredible with a fantastic range of delicious items and bottomless juice and coffee. The Dahu is in a super location with wonderful views across the valley and is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Morzine. Although we did not use it, the hotel operates a shuttle to the ski lifts. The decor is totally alpine, with a mixture of seating areas and styles in the lounge plus a small games room. We booked massages in the spa which was a modern, calming facility. There is also a delightful indoor pool with decor full on pine: looking out across the valley from rocker recliners after a day on the slopes was great and there is a large in built hot tub. I think you have to book and pay separately if you want to use the sauna or steam room. My husband felt the pool area was a bit dated but realises post-covid investment is tricky. Our room was large enough for 4 people (with fold away bunk beds/ couch); with lots of clothes hanging and a separate loo and bathroom. Big superking bed too. We would definitely recommend Le Dahu and hope to stay there again.

Mattresses were very hard. Mattress toppers would help.
