Location and overall ambience, plus the sun room! It is 'shabby chic',....peeling paint (on the outside) and old furniture and worn carpets.
The shower was broken. The main shower head was missing and the 'handheld' bracket was broken. The water ran hot/cold/hot/cold. Was going to report in the morning but the staff member clearly didn't want to communicate (this was Sunday morning).

the location was excellent, and the large double room was also excellent. Breakfast was good, and Martin and the staff were all very helpful. We liked the period house, and the atmosphere, and last but not least, Celle is a beautiful town.
We were exceptionally impressed by the help we got from the staff, when our friends had a puncture and couldn't pick us up to take us to the railway station.
Just a small thing, but we find low volume background music during breakfast is a good way of making the atmosphere a
little more comfortable for everyone
