Nothing. It was perfect from our arrival until our departure. Two points to mention though: no life guard at the swimming pool (we have a 4 year old) and there are only two restaurant options for dining, with the food quality below what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre (just regular cuisine nothing fancy and definitely nothing luxury). But the kindness of the staff made up for it. And the breakfast was good, with a good a la carte menu.

The service at the Oberoi was impeccable. I have never had such a warm genuine welcome. The room was perfect in every way, the comfort of the mattress the temperature and the fine details such as the luxury designed kimonos. The pool area is very relaxing with and fab service and welcoming touches. The hotels were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend the Balinese massage where I was treated with such care and sensitivity. The treatment rooms are stunning.

The pool club sandwich was dry and tasteless, as were the chips. The bird scarer spoilt the ambience of my evening drink on the balcony, but to their card they switched it off. We had standard ice in our cocktails, I think a place of this quality warrants large clear ice cubes! It was difficult to access the gardens at night due to the blockades for private diners, one side should be kept free if possible.
