The cleanliness of my room was excellent, with everything I needed for my stay. The hosts were helpful ,friendly and caring, offering me extra tea, coffee and milk during my stay, which I appreciated - The FREE parking at the rear of the "The Pack Horse" hotel was a surprise bonus.👍🙂
The staircase leading to my room was steep and probably needed an extra hand rail opposite the one already installed- NO problem if you're young, fit and healthy, but if over 70 suffering with dodgy knee joints from playing sport, e.g. playing international squash as I have, or just getting older with arthritis, then YES there could be a problem.

Loud loud loud, karaoke on till 2 in the morning, had to wait ages at the bar to check in amongst rude and threatening locals who made me and my friend feel unsafe as 2 young women staying at the pub. Rooms were big standard, clean and for one night passable

"The location is excellent for the town centre. Great thoughtful touch is the reserved parking at the rear of the pub in its private car park."
