Super-friendly hosts, lovely stay. Very convenient for the De la Warr Pavilion.

Superb accommodation in a super setting close to the sea and shops and music venue. Made to feel very welcome , Superb breakfast the following day Room has a four poster bed with a superb large shower and bathroom very clean and tidy !!!

Breakfast was excellent - particularly the porridge and the pancake. If you don't have both pancakes, their dog Winnie(?) gets to have it! Full English was also great.

Owners were friendly breakfast was excellent, Dog friendly room, great location, really made welcome looking forward to returning to this gem of a hotel.

Really an issues for the local council to sort out; car parking can be tricky at times.

Wish I was told our room was at the top of the 3 story house.

The breakfast was amazing. The room was lovely with a big open window at the back. Location was perfect for everything on the seafront. The lady who run it was lovely with a very bubbly personality, and made sure she spoke to everyone.

Parking is ok but you must get a permit from the guest house. You can park in the road or there is a big car park by the pavillion.

The Christmas decorations...

When I arrived I was put on the 3rd floor climbing about 50 stairs to my room. I was exhausted from traveling and just wanted a hot bath and then go to bed. I started to run a bath and the hot water ran out so unable to have one,There is no electric shower so had to have a strip wash. The bed was lovely and big but there was a quilt underneath the top sheet and immediately I knew the bed was going to be exactly what I expected!! It was extremely lumpy and I had to sleep the other end of the bed because it was so so uncomfortable. I am still in pain now from the awful sleep I had. I would not go back and stay at this B and B ever again

The owner and his wife were very welcoming, warm and friendly. The location is great, our beds were comfortable and we slept well. We were also served a full English breakfast the next day which was nice and hot, and served with a smile.

We did have a few constructive points to make.... Firstly, when we first arrived at the venue there was a little bit of a doggy smell downstairs. I understand this happens, and I'm a big animal lover myself but thought it might be an idea to use a room spray or deodoriser as other guests may not appreciate this. When we got to our room, the cleaner had missed a few spots. We had brought antibac wipes due worries about Covid and we were glad we did as the kettle and the light switch were grubby. The other thing worth mentioning was the door to the shower/toilet. It was a swinging cowboy ranch style door which didn't close properly, so we didn't have a great deal of privacy when going to the toilet! I was sharing with my Mum, but if it Had been with a friend or romantic partner I would have been mortified. This is the only major point which would stop me from coming back, but if this was addressed we would return as the hosts were so nice and it's such a lovely location.
