Literally everything our stay there was an absolute dream!!! The staff was absolutely fantastic, the experience will stay with us for the rest of our lives, the food was phenomenal. Just literally everything.

Absolutely nothing we loved everything. It was our favorite state of our entire trip and we will be coming back every single year.

Such a special location to experience traditional Japanese Ryokan! We loved the service and attentiveness of the staff. Outdoors bath with a forest view was also a highlight.

We absolutely loved our stay with Momijiya, it was the highlight of our Japan honeymoon. The room was wonderful and the staff were amazing, they really made our stay special. The dinner in the restaurant by the river was incredible, especially the beef sukiyaki, it was the best meal we had during our whole honeymoon, we will be thinking about that meal for a long time! They had two Maiko's in attendance during dinner who spoke to all the guests and did a performance which was truly special. Walking around the property at night was magical and the private onsen was lovely. Could not recommend more.

Beautiful nature, geisha show, very responsive host

Doors, walls and table were not clean. Some places in the apartment were dusty
