Paloma Blanca

The room was spacious and modern with a big bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and bar area is really nice. The pool is big with lots of space around it and the food and drinks at the bar were really good. The view of the mountains is also nice. Lots of choice at breakfast, although mostly very processed foods.

It was generally clean and the room was cleaned daily but a deep clean in places and more attention to detail is needed. There was a bad smell throughout the hotel (we think from the drains). We did notice this smell around Corfu generally, so it’s perhaps a wider issue. The water in our room stopped working for 10-15 minutes multiple times during our stay. Unfortunately, the location really lets the hotel down. The local area is very run down, there is lots of litter, and it smells bad. I would highly recommend hiring a car if you choose to stay here. The hotel is near a very busy main road with limited paths, which you have to walk down or across to get anywhere. There is a bus stop at the end of the road which was useful for getting the blue bus into Corfu town, however, we found it difficult to get to anywhere else on the island as the green buses were very unreliable.

Great surroundings, greenery and the hotel is beautiful. The staff was ALWAYS super kind, it really makes your stay. The breakfast was tasty, and decent variety. We had some issue with the hot water, and they came immediately to check. Also the pool stays open for long time and has a nice lounge, and you can eat or drink anytime. Also the beach in Dassia was perfect, clean and warm and great views to the albanese coast!

I would have liked a higher temp for the water of the shower. Some installations were a bit old in our room, and may missed like towel hangers, toilet paper hanger, just the daily usage things. Our bed was a bit too stiff/hard, but that depends on preference and weight.

We choosed this because of the gym, but most of things in there was broken and didnt work, not enaugh sunbeds, if you walked to breakfast around 30 min before it ends, a lot of stuff wasnt available anymore like omlette, only sweet things were left.
