Hotel clean and my room had recently been refurbished. Shame the kettle didn't work - the staff did offer me a room change because of this but, as I was already settled, I declined.
I've stayed in many Campanile hotels and they always have a restaurant on site - usually across the car park. Sadly, Rennes didn't.

Copious breakfast with plenty of options.
Very quiet with a pleasant lounge near the bar.
