We had a really lovely stay at The Bear.
The room was exceptionally comfortable, beautifully and tastefully decorated with a ‘wow’ bathroom.
Bit of an uphill walk back from central Bath, , but the positives really did out way this small negative.

The staff was awesome, especially the lady at the restaurant/bar who also handled our check-in.
The location is perfect and within walking distance of most things if you're somewhat active.
The guest room and bathroom were spacious, and the pub offered an excellent atmosphere complemented by high-quality cuisine. We enjoyed an authentic pub experience, and the staff were highly accommodating regarding our request to view the rugby match.

Surface clean but large build up of dust and dirt in many areas .
