We had a positive experience at Eco Home View - Guest House! The staff were fantastic, always exceptionally helpful, friendly, and keen to assist with whatever we needed. Having a hot shower was a great plus after a day of exploring.
There is a long set of stairs to climb every day to and from the main square. It wasn't an issue for us, but it could definitely be challenging if you're struggling with Cusco's high altitude or returning tired from a hike.
Overall, a great budget-friendly base with lovely hospitality.
Due to their sun exposure, the rooms can get pretty cold, and there are no space heaters provided, so pack warm layers for the evenings.

Beautiful view from the terrace
You have to climb up or climb down more than a few steps to get there. If you have a lot of luggage, preferably don’t come here if you can’t carry your luggage.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with plants and a terrace. Location is great.
The hotel was extremely cold. There is no heating in the room and you can’t warm up because the shower is one of those heads with three settings and it doesn’t get hot, or even really warm. This was a huge turnoff for us after a long day of hiking in the rain. It was only 10 Celsius during our stay so we were very cold in bed.
The hotel is also quit noisy. You hear absolutely everything, people walking around, the doorbell, the phone, the blender in the kitchen.
The hotel needs some maintenance. The floors are coming loose and stick up from the floor, they try to cover these parts with rugs but you’ll still stub your toes on it.
Really wish we could rate higher but it was not a very comfortable stay

"Posizione meravigliosa a pochi minuti a piedi dalla piazza centrale. Ci sono un po di scalini per tornare a casa però eravamo stati avvertiti e non fare salite a Cusco è difficile :)
