Onyado Nono Toyama Natural Hot Spring

An exceptional stay, and we would absolutely return next time we are in Toyama. The location is very good, about a 10 to 12-minute walk from the main station, or you can take the tram using the free tram tickets provided by the hotel reception. The highlights were the incredible facilities: the hot spring on the second floor was fantastic, and the hotel offers wonderful complimentary extras like massage chairs, free ramen, and free Yakult or ice cream after a soak. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

The room was quite small for two people, which is standard for Japan but might feel a bit tight if you are travelling with large suitcases.

The staff helped us to prepare our requested baby bath and bed guard before we checked in. There are child amenities throughout and the whole place is tatami/wood covered. Staff cleaned our luggage wheels too! Nightime ramen is great with ice cream and cultured drink after onsen. Many onsen types to explore and there's also onsen available in the room.

Parking is payable for 24h unlimited access at parking lot next door. For security reasons (as they also take in day time onsen goer), you will need to tap your cards to access different areas. Restaurant area was blasting in aircond so it was quite cold to hang out there. Pricier that our usual option but a good experience.
