The room was very clean and there were lots of power outlets, and there was a good blackout blind. I paid for the breakfast at the Edgbaston park hotel and it was well worth it. The restaurant was lovely and the breakfast options were vast.
I felt really safe as a solo traveller.
I could hear doors slamming, and I could hear pipes making noise when other people turned their taps on and off. I asked for a quiet room and felt I was put close to other people even though the accommodation seemed pretty empty. I was put on the top floor which would limit noise from above but then I had noise from above from the pipes!

My accessible room should have had a double bed but it was actually two singles, even made up as singles & simply pushed together & not even joined up to make a double! Anyone sleeping there could have slipped through....
The wet room was fine.
