Got a warm and friendly welcome, and help to take our luggage to our room. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was mostly excellent.

There were no coat hangers in our room, and no hair dryer (but the manager when told was anxious to help). There were various jams and honey at breakfast but no marmalade. The coffee was not very hot.

It was cheap, close to what I had on for the couple of days in Sheffield. Comfortable temperature.

It wasn't very clean, though apparently we were given an upgraded room which is the room I thought we were getting anyways. The beds all had hair, dust, fluff on top and inside. As well as the room itself covered in hair and dust. The bathroom had a bad smell coming from it, and none of us braved using the shower or bath there during our stay. It was stay there to sleep and not be there the rest of the time. Not much choice for breakfast even if I was to pay for the cooked. Everything just felt and tasted dusty... which isn't something you want when having food. I had some orange juice thinking that was safe, and that had dust all in it too. Not sure if they dust the place or are just particularly dusty, but it put me off wanting to eat or drink there.
