The location was fabulous. Right on lake Annecy with access into the lake for swimming
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. I chose the hotel because of the restaurant reviews. I was not informed that it was closed until after my
Money had been taken. So could not book somewhere else

Fabulous location. Very friendly, capable staff; always available, always eager to help. View from the garden, restaurant terrace and our room was fabulous. Masses of clothes storage in the room.
The room was exactly as described but it would have been lovely had it had just a small fridge; a slim line one might have fitted in one of the plentiful wardrobes. Cushions for the balcony chairs would have been nice.

The location right on the lake was superb and the views were terrific. The furnishings were first rate and the aesthetic was wonderful. I cannot say enough about the staff- Claudia was very helpful and welcoming. We ate in the superb restaurant and the waitstaff there was very professional as well. The hotel has a very talented young chef and our dinner was delicious.
The rooms were small- that said, they were well designed. There was no chair in which to relax (no room!) but we enjoyed sitting on the little terrace.

Everything! We had an amazing time, I spent here my wedding dinner and weekend with family and friends and everything was amazing... Access to the lake, great food and cozy rooms with a view. Sauna, hot tub, ping pong, kickers... We had so much fun!
And Duingt /the location is a prime spot while being peaceful and still secluded from the mass tourism of Annecy.
Not much, we had a great stay!!. I advise the owners to install more hooks in the rooms, to more easily hang jackets and other items. Beds are comfy but hard - it will depend on the taste. Would have loved to have a fridge so I could buy local cheese to bring back home :-) and finally I thought we could have done with less heating.

Fantastic hotel, great location, however...
Very noisy rooms, walls are thing and there's little to no sound insulation which means when drunk people play table football outside the room at 1am you can hear it all!

Le Clos Marcel is ideally situated lakeside with breathtaking views and access to the lake. Our room had an amazing view.
The room was tiny. There wasn't room to open my suitcase or store it. The room was very expensive indeed, no doubt due to the stunning location.

The location was wonderful. The afternoon sun, the lounge chairs by the lake, the sleek design of the buildings.
It was convenient to rent a bike right at the property. Stand up paddle boards were also available.
The room had a beautiful view of the lake, but it was configured strangely so that there was very little surface area to put your things down on. Very little space to walk around the bed and most importantly, no air conditioning. It would have also been nice to have instant coffee provided in the rooms, instead of just tea.

The lake view was stunning and the private beach area spacious and relaxing. Staff were very helpful.
Our room (probably the cheapest option) was very well designed, but very small. felt quite constricting when the weather wasn’t good enough to use the outside space.

Loved everything about this hotel! Super location on a beautiful part of Lake Annecy. Fantastic room with our own terrace overlooking the lake. Sun beds & towels were provided. Great restaurant for an evening meal & breakfast. very good & friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Shame about shed in front of our room as it impeded our view to see lake in its glory. No cushions on outdoor seats just hard plaster. As above

Evening meal was very good indeed. Quality and presentation well up to standards expected. Waiting on staff were friendly, helpful.
Cold Buffet breakfast was varied and good. But at 18 Euros a little overpriced
Information on opening/serving times for breakfast was totally confusing. So missed breakfast on first morning and had to "perch" at coffee tables in bar. We were told quite abruptly that there were no tables available as they were being reset for lunch 2 hours later. Hotel had changed ownership 2 months earlier and receptionist said she had a list of things that would be changed.
No tea making facilities and just one chair in our double bedded room. Lighting in bedroom insufficient.
