Excellent location, very welcoming, lovely clean rooms and lots of parking

Great location, great food, great service. The room was a lovely size and very comfortable.
The issues we had were 1. The main door handle on the entrance had loose and or mismatched screws making it difficult to open/close the door without potentially removing the handle. 2. The top door hinge had dropped exacerbating issue 1. 3. The shower cubicle had a screw missing from the top runner at the point where the runners meet, moving the doors caused the whole cubicle to flex causing one of the doors to fall off its track. I fixed this. 4. The thermostat had no dial on the front with which to control the heating.

We had one of the rooms in the Barn at the back of the pub.
The room was spacious with an area for watching TV.
The view from the rear window overlooked lovely countryside.
The towels were good quality and lovely and white.
More attention to detail is needed in general.
Unfortunately the view from the front overlooked other accommodation so we had to keep the blind down which made the room dark.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
The bathroom is looking very tired and needs a repaint.
The bathroom ceiling light is too dim and inadequate.
There was no shelf in shower for toiletries.
It would have been useful if the windows had safety hinges on them to allow them to be left open for ventilation.
