Caretta Hotel

The hotel is in a great location , wonderful views of the bay with direct entry into the water. It’s just a 10 minute walk into the town and the staff are very friendly. Fantastic value for money.

A little run down in places.

Fantastic position and comfortable room. Right on the sea to jump in and swim. Breakfast balcony on the sea is lovely. Friendly staff and owner gave us a ride to the bus station was super helpful.

So much potential to be fantastic-a little fixing up would improve it visually.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about this astonishingly located hotel is: 'don't let the downsides hide the upsides.' Don't lose sight of the positives. ​The hotel itself is maybe a little worn out, a little run-down. ​However, the location and the view from our room were something we'll never forget. For us, this view will always be a postcard representing all of Turkey—the first thing that comes to mind when I think about this country, inviting us to go back. The room was very spacious and clean, and the breakfast was good. Staff are nice and always ready to help.

You maybe only could wish for a bigger bathroom.... and one can definitely tell that they have a sewage system problems. But this is definitely done due to location itself, and the hotel situated directly on a rocky cliffs.

An excellent location featuring a private beach area and direct access to the water (the area is rocky), as well as an on-site restaurant serving very tasty food at affordable prices. The room is fully equipped (spotlessly clean bathroom, fridge, Wi-Fi) and boasts a wonderful terrace offering views of the sea and the other side of Kalkan. The staff is professional and ready to assist with anything you need, and the owner is a truly exceptional person. In a word: a dream.

It’s quite a walk to the city center, but walking is good for your health :)
