Beautiful beach hotel with super friendly staff

I loved everything!

The room was way better than we expected and the view at sunset was spectacular! We were on the 5th floor and our bedroom balcony had the best sunset views and over looked the beach. Check in was very smooth and easy, Mei checked us in and was happy to see us, took her time to explain everything about the facilities and encouraged us to use the free spa facilities, in fact Mei was amazing, friendly and welcoming every time we saw her. All the staff were really nice but Mei is the name and face we really remembered. Room was better than expected, fully stocked bar and comfy bed and shower was really good, actually had decent pressure and got really hot!

Nothing really. The prices for the snacks and that in the room were a bit expensive but to be expected in Ibiza and can go over the road to the supermarket if really that bothered and they give you a free big bottle of water on arrival anyway.

The apartment was outstanding! Really nice place to stay and the staff was so helpful. Mei was the most helpful lady ever and made us feel so welcomed

Considering this my third visit and having payed a lot of money for a Seaview and even asked for an upgrade to be given the first floor front with a massive roof overhang was not good, we couldn't see the pool yet we could hear all the noise all the time, plus items from above us kept falling from properties above onto the roof overhang. Not all the kitchen facilities worked including the Kettle and Hob which rendered our ability to be self sufficient therefore having to rely on the rip off prices of the restaurants that has now become the norm. Although I like The Axel hotel it needs updating as it has not changed in at least 10 years plus Ibiza has now become such rip off I will not be returning to the Island that I have enjoyed for many years having visited at least a dozen times. Such a shame everyone got greedy
