The Cornishman Inn

Arrived at the Cornishmans Arms early evening greeted by the proprietor. She was very welcoming and quickly gave a brief description of the facilities and evening meals. She then showed me to my room, even offering to carry my luggage, I politely declined the offer. The room was on the second floor. It was very clean, nicely presented, plenty of very nice bath towels and soap. Coffee, tea, milk and sugar provided. Ample wardrobe space, hangers, hair dryer and luggage rack. Room was nicely decorated. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent.Staff were very professional and helpful during my stay. Also great outside space and car park at the rear of the premises. Would definitely recommend this stay.

I proposed to my partner on the sat of our stay on the beach at Tintagel castle , when we returned to the hotel that evening every single member of staff went out of there way to congratulate the pair of us and even gave us a bottle of processco to celebrate!!! We will never forget the love and affection we were shown !!!

The welcome and staff were excellent (an upgrade!). A friendly hotel, fantastic location, ample parking and breakfast was delicious.

Only fault was the mattress (Room 3). I have to say it had a lump in the middle and my wife and I both found it uncomfortable.

Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
