Very comfortable, well equipped apartment with nice view of the sea. Bonus was a washing machine downstairs, coin operated. We were greeted by very obliging young man, Alex, who helped us with heavy luggage.

The views were spectacular from swimming pool. Beautiful balcony. The town of cefalu is a very special place with great little streets and squares

We got a warm welcome when arriving to Villa Santa Barbara. We got introduced to the hotel and nearby services and offered cold water after the ”hike” to the hotel. Room was big, nice and had fantastic view to the sea and mountains from a big balcony. Hotel had beautiful garden where customers had many places to enjoy the view and sunbath. Pool had an amazing view to the sea as well. Hotel bar was open and we got to taste new drinks from a capable bartender who gave us the best tips about restaurants and places to visit. Many thanks for him! We had great time in Villa Santa Barbara and in whole Cefalu and would highly recommend others to visit as well! Thanks and warm regards to the receptionists! ☺️

Nice pool with grassed area to kick back and relax for a few hours from the hustle and bustle. Spacious clean rooms and balcony with fabulous view. Staff are great.
The trek uphill from town after a night out requires a bit of effort so take taxi if you don't fancy the walk.

The pool was perfect, it was always spotlessly clean, big and deep enough for swimming and jumping:)
The garden was also beautiful with the huge olive trees!
The location of the property was also good, a bit outside of the town, but with a panoramic view to the sea.
To get into the city and the oldtown is a 15 min walk, uphill on the backway. With smaller kids it can be challenging during the summer; for us with a bit bigger kids ( aged 7,9,12) it was not a problem.

Our expectations were based on the reviews in Booking but were exceeded immediately as we entered the premises! The hosts were very friendly and guest-oriented (thumbs up for Laura and Alex), the premises well maintained and clean, and we were amazed by the spectacular view of the Mediterranean.
We spent a lot of time at the pool, enjoyed some amazing coctails from Alex and even used the BBQ on the premises for a nice family dinner. We enjoyed our time at Villa Santa Barbara a lot!
The house is a short walk away from the Cefalu center, but a bit further from the beach. The walk is perfectly doable for adults; we however have two small kids and so we used the car whenever we went down to the center. I guess this could be seen as a downside, but the view from the pool is totally worth it.
The smallest apartments don't offer a kitchenette.

Amazing villa slightly outside Cefalu town (15-20min walk). Lovely pool and sun loungers. apartment was spacious and very clean with all necessary utensils. Staff were so kind and helpful - Laura and Alex did everything they could to help and make our stay enjoyable! Alex also makes the best Aperol Spritz!!
The pool closes from 14.00-16.00hrs every day which was a little inconvenient.

Laura met us when we arrived exhausted from a long trip from Catania. We were a family of eight people staying in 3 separate rooms. She gave us a tour and worked to meet all of our needs. When we left I discovered that I had mistakenly left my kindle in the room. Laura immediately responded that she found it and offered to send it to our next location. It arrived safely in Taormina a few days later. She even refused to be reimbursed!! We loved the balconies and the opportunity to make breakfast in our kitchens. One of our rooms had a problem with the shower, but Laura was very responsive and had it fixed.

The facility was great.
Good size apartment.
Nicely looked after garden, with lot of green space and BBQ for guest to use.
Amazing Swimming pool deep, but shallow for kids, lawn chair for sun tanning and clean

Incredible facilities - our apartment was overlooking the pool and the appartments was very spacious! Laura the manager is so lovely and made us feel very welcome. she let us have a late checkout too!
Nothing! Except it’s an up hill walk of about 15-20 mins from town if you don’t have a car, but it was manageable and worth it for the amazing property!

The view is great! The garden is very large, green and wonderful, birds were dinging all the time!
Room was very large with everything needed inside.
The iron was not working, the single bed was not comfortable and there were now blankets for it.

The location was just far enough away from the hustle and bustle for our child to be able to sleep, but not too far of a walk into town.
The staff were great, especially Laura who would go out of her way to help with anything.
Tumble dryer didn’t work and there was an awkward walk into town as footpaths just seemed to stop in the middle of nowhere.

An incredibly nice service from a friendly staff, an excellent and beautiful location, and rooms were spotless clean. A definite reminder for me to choose this place again when I visit Cefalu again.

The apartment was large, clean and comfortable. It was much nicer than on the photos. There was plenty of room and storage space. Large, well equipped kitchen. Large bathroom. 2 x balconies. 10 apartments in total. Well kept pool and gardens. Easy to park in front of the property on the street. 10 minute walk to Cefalu centre.
Although only 10 apartments, there was a "reserved" area with sunbeds for 5 EUR per person per day. It was here that you could sunbathe and appreciate the view of the sea (and have WiFi access). I thought this was exaggerated and it should have been free of charge. It was not possible to lie on a sunbed around the pool. You could lie below the pool, but had no view, or in the garden, but had no WiFi. Something to be considered. The property lacked atmosphere, but a good base.

Extraordinary view from our very big black balcony (BBB)! Nice garden area and pool area and nice staff!
The Floor wasn’t clean and we didn’t had any shampoo and body wash and other free toiletries (like in the description stated).

Great place to stay if visiting cefalu. We also got a free upgrade, which was great! Thanks to Laura for her hospitality.
