Hotel Mirador Puerta del Sol

Very centrally located

A little noise because there are bars very close

An amazing location - about 50 metres from the Puerta de Sol. Staff were so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. It has a nice first floor lounge overlooking the main street with a microwave, vending machines and cutlery. There is a Carrefour opposite so great for self catering for breakfast or a chilled evening. We will book here again on our next Madrid stay.

The TV in the room had better days and the remote was broken. Inside rooms have an internal view but....perfect noise cancelling when the Puerta de Sol is lively.

The location, the room was warm, the bed covers were warm. The room was clean. A mini fridge is provided.

This place is more like a hostel. It was not worth its price. There were broken tiles in the bathroom, the toilet seat was scratched. There was no kettle in the room. There was one in the public area on the 1at floor, however, there was no tab water, no mugs or plastic/paper cups. The towels were low quality. The receptionist was not answering the phone and there were no instructions in the room about how to connect with the reception through the room’s phone. I was sick and needed hot water to make a tea and an additional blanket and I couldn’t get the reception to answer the phone.
