Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites

The Black Parrot Suite was spacious, clean, and quiet. The beach right in front is very private, the balcony views were beautiful, and the AC worked perfectly. Unlimited filtered water plus the souvenir metal bottles was a great touch. The separate car park for Black Parrot guests made having a rental car easy and convenient — definitely recommended.

The food (though the desserts were delicious). Soundproofing between rooms and the hallway could also be better.

An unforgettable stay in a truly beautiful place. Everything was perfect, from the stunning setting to the warm hospitality and attention to every little detail. We felt so comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived. We only wish we could have stayed longer! A special place that we’ll remember fondly and would love to return to. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel and very comfortable room - more like a junior suite. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Complimentary transfer to Anse Lazio beach, guided nature trail walk and afternoon vanilla tea with homebaked biscuits were all excellent. Loved the library and pool. Food was particularly good quality and varied. Great for sea swimming and sunset views.

The property was beautiful. The area outside the rooms where one can just sit for hours reading a book - amazing! The staff deserves a special mention for genuinely being extremely sweet and helpful through our stay The breakfast buffet was really good. Not only was there a wide spread, the food tasted real good Location wise, the property is quite easy to find and get to

The room was not great. There are two issue I had with it. One minor and the other major. Minor - it was really dark. The way its been designed, there is barely any natural light allowed into the room Major - WHY do establishments think it is ok to have an open bathroom. How is that romantic? Not only was the bath-tub area open, the WC was part open as well. That meant that we could hear each other using the WC and worse, the smell would take over the room and linger! This was attrocious. It destroyed our nights at the property I would have happily rated this property a 8/10 but am downgrading it to a 6/10 just because of the bathroom situation
