Die Wohnung war schön geräumig, die Betten sehr bequem. Und es war alles da, was man braucht.

Our door code and apartment code worked as provided in an email, so it was easy to get into the building. The apartment was nice, clean and bright. We were centrally located so it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

This was my fault for not reading the details, but we were on the 4th floor and there was no elevator. This made it extremely difficult for me to get my luggage to the apartment and to return in the evening after a long day of walking. Just a note for the owners: We encountered 3 different groups of people whose code didn't work on the door, which turned out to be because they were in another building, but it wasn't clear on their email where this other building was.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Apartment in sehr guter Lage! Haben uns bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten (?) Wohl gefühlt. Bequemer Fahrstuhl. Wohnung schön hell, abdunkelbare Rollos. Alles prima fußläufig zu erreichen, auch Cafés und Restaurants. Ausreichende gratis Parkmöglichkeiten sind etwa 5 Gehminuten entfernt.

- in den Schlafzimmern war es sehr laut, konnten an 3 Nächten kaum schlafen (1.: Baustelle im Hinterhof, ab 7Uhr bis zum späten Nachmittag, da hatten wir wohl einfach Pech, 2.: die Fenster sind sehr zugig, bei uns war es windiges Wetter (nicht stürmisch) und der Wind pfiff wirklich laut und die Balbonbrüstung ratterte. Mich hat noch nie Wind gestört, aber dies war wirklich laut! So hat sich die gesamte Familie nachts um 3Uhr in der Küche getroffen... auch mal ne Erfahrung ;). - teilweise nicht ganz sauberes Geschirr/Besteck

Beautiful apartment a few doors down from Kattakaffihúsið- which was a hit with my 2 boys. Nice open floor plan, kitchen with everything you need to make meals- and a Krónan grocery store a block away for groceries. Two bedrooms and big closets in one and in the hall. Nice bathroom and plenty of towels. Located In the city center so walking distance to everything you want to see and do in Reykjavik and parking in the back- I can’t say how perfect this place is for families.

Window didn’t open in one bedroom.

Limited on kitchen utensils making it difficult to prepare a decent meal.

It was a wonderful, centrally located apartment very close to the main attractions, as well as many restaurants. The apartment is a good size and is well equipped. It was perfect for our stay in Reykjavik!

We were told there was a place to store our baggage if we arrived early, but it wasn't apparent where it was and we didn't get a response once we arrived. You need to ask in advance for a code to the office if you want to store your bags somewhere until the apartment is ready.
