The location, pub and staff were great. The room clean each day was nice and the coffee making facilities with biscuits were good.
The food wasn't great for the price, and we got pork sausages at breakfast when we wanted veggie. The showers in the two upstairs rooms were really poor and all three rooms were priced the same, but the third room was a tiny room and should have been priced differently to the other two. The ground floor bedroom needed gauze blinds as the only option for privacy during daylight hours was blackout blinds and so that was inconvenient.

Old school pub vibes with a great atmosphere and the food was delicious!

Amazing staff. Everyone made us feel so welcome. Dee, the Housekeeper, was so lovely to us as was the lady who did the breakfasts.

The location is great, centre of Coniston. Very clean. Staff friendly.
The bed and pillow were very hard. No toiletries in bathroom. No hairdryer although this was resolved on the second day. Ground floor room with no net curtains so blinds had to be drawn fully all the time to maintain privacy. Noisy in the mornings as our room was near the bins. The room was very expensive and not value for money.
