Nicely located on a quiet and picturesque strip of land between the bay and a creek (that looked more like a lake). Cottage was very clean, very comfortable and had eveything we needed. Plenty of indoor seating as well as a nice outdoor couch for sunset viewing. Kitchen well appointed. Lots of information supplied by hosts. We thank Chris and Nick for sharing their place with us.

We had a great anniversary getaway to this quiet and peaceful Beachhouse. We absolutely loved our stay, and will definitely be back next year! House was clean, and a bonus was being able to bring the dog! We were able to cook a few meals and had adequate dishware and cooking utensils, pots, and pans for our needs. The sunsets at Primehook beach are amazing and we had some really nice dinners in Lewes.

Absolutely everything was perfect! Super cozy beach house in the perfect location only steps away from the beach. We enjoyed sunrises on the beach, sunsets and birdwatching on the deck, and everything in between. We loved that the house was stocked with everything you could possible need and we especially appreciated that it was dog friendly!

Very well stocked, very clean, and the host thought of everything you need for an enjoyable stay! We had such a great time!! This is definitely a great location with beautiful decor and just a lovely place to stay! The host is amazing! The only downfall is having to leave! Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely vacation! The hosts were welcoming and hospitable. They provided lots of extras . They had great communication and provided quick replies to all of our questions. We appreciated being able to bring our son and daughter- in -laws one year old Pug puppy along. We found the beach and many area restaurants welcomed dogs too. As expected in a marshy area, there were some mosquitoes and other bugs, but this wasn’t a deterrent to our vacation fun. All in all this is a beautiful home and a lovely seaside vacation location.

I needed to find a well priced house close to the water so we could bring our 14 year old dog to chase balls in the bay one last time. We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient place than this house. The views from the back deck were spectacular and there was always a breeze. The dang flies were a bother but spray kept them away. We basically had the beach to ourselves - def glad we had a rake to clear a spot for ourselves. We loved the natural beach, but there is some weird bay dredge that washes up! We’re so glad we got to go, and Christine was so sweet and easy to reach.

I was shocked how these owners really thought of everything. With taking two young children, they had plates, bowls, baby wash & anything I could’ve possibly needed. Bring binoculars for the back deck!! Absolutely stunning & the sunsets are perfection. There were so many toys for my children it helped so much on the rainy day. The host was so easy to interact with and checked in on us. We’ll definitely be back.

Chris and Nick’s home is so sweet! The perfect size and location for a family with young kids. We appreciated the well supplied kitchen (all the tools you need for cooking at home), the proximity to the beach and the gorgeous view from the back deck. We had a wonderful stay and hope to book again soon!

Everything was clean and had a nice view of bay and wildlife sanctuary. There are definitely a lot of horseshoe crabs!!! Well stocked too and not a lot of cleanup

We had a great time in Prime Hook Beach. It's peaceful, relaxing, dog friendly and the host was active with messaging and responding to our messages in a timely manner. Such a beautiful home with great views. Super close access to the beach. Collected some amazing seashells with my daughter. Lots of beautiful birds to see. We even took a trip to Assateague island national seashore on a rainy day. Would recommend and we definitely hope to rent again!

This was our second stay at this Prime Hook getaway. And, we've already booked for next year. Its a peaceful retreat with a gorgeous view. Not far from Cape Henlopen State Park and Lewes Beach and Ferry. Loved walking through the town of Milton and Lewes. Very clean house with all the comforts of home. My kids enjoyed riding the bikes to the little bridge where locals were crabbing. And, my pups loved going for strolls through the neighborhood.

Perfect secluded and quiet location for our beach trip. Sunset on the back deck over the water was very enjoyable each night. The house was very accommodating and clean. Short walk to the beach. Unfortunately a storm had come in a day prior so there was alot washed up on the beach and bugs. Property was perfect though!

The time my wife and I spent was well needed. We always go to Ocean City, MD and end up in a hotel. We wanted a change of pace and rented a home on or near the beach. Very easy to get to. We experienced a very quite area. It's very cozy and gives a good feel of relaxation. Cozy seating area to snuggle up and watch some movies. Not too far from shopping and dining was a plus. You can't control the weather. Cold, Rain & Wind. Because of the weather we never got to see the beach. The wind was a struggle. Spending time trying to keep the cover on the patio furniture kept me from trying to relax. The grill which we never got to use had to be moved back to it's regular location twice because the wind was so strong it blew it across the patio. Doing work around the house is what I was trying to get away from. No curtains on the front windows made privacy a factor. Very visible to see through the windows at night. I was uncomfortable to see people across the street leaning on their railing staring in our direction being able to see straight through the house to the kitchen. On a final note we would definitely visit this location again as long as curtains on the front windows are installed. We would try again more into the summer season. Hopefully the winds aren't as bad as they are in the spring.

Exactly the unplugged vacation we needed. House was clean, well furnished, well stocked with basic supplies, and in an absolutely beautiful location just across the street from a private beach. Ocean was visible from the living room with great views of sunsets over the saltwater marsh behind the home. Relatively short drives to local hot spots and downtown areas.

Our goal was to find a beach property suitable for our pups and ourselves for a long weekend. This cute little haven checked all the boxes! Perfect location with everything we could have needed! Only complaint is that I wish we had more time to spend. ☺️

We had a wonderful stay in Prime Hook Beach. The house was exactly as pictured and Christine has EVERYTHING in the house you could need. The place was super clean -- everything was in great condition and the property is obviously very well cared for. We had such a relaxing week - enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds and the sunsets and the short walk to the beach across the street was great. The fact that we could bring our dog and take him to the beach was a plus. Communication with Christine was great and even though we didn't have any problems she did check on us a few times to make sure all was okay, If we go back to this area we would definitely love to stay there again. One word of caution -- the house is about 15 minutes from the closest town Milton which is also the closest place to get food or drink so plan accordingly, That said the location of the house was well enjoyed!

Great place for a quick getaway or a long stay. The house had all the supplies we needed. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We loved being so close to the nature preserve and the beach. It was quiet with the sounds of nature being the only noise. We will absolutely be going back

The location of this house could not be better. Every day we spent hours on the back deck, enjoying the variety of birds swooping and wading in the shimmering water. And each day we took numerous walks on the beach with our dog, just a short walk across the street. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the space was comfortable and inviting. Our host Christine was responsive and helpful, too. In all our years of staying at properties around the world, this is the first time we have returned to a house for a second visit, and we hope we are lucky to return again.

This property was more like a home than a rental. The owner's were kind and patient as we asked more questions than the average person. The owner's provided everything you could think of--cooking pans and utensils, paper supplies, bikes, extras like a crockpot. Very well stocked. Clean. Linens for bed, bath and kitchen included. We visited in April 2023--The views of the nature preserve were heavenly. The breeze delightful. Very quiet. Serene. You could see the bay from the front of the house. Great to have 2 of the bedrooms with sliders to look out on the water and take advantage of the deck. A big plus. We downloaded a free app called Merlin and could take pictures of the birds and the app ID'd the bird. We saw a pair of eagles! We walked the dog and everyone we met were friendly and outgoing. Plenty of grass to frisbee our labradoodle. The owner's were extremely helpful. We lacked nothing.

I loved this home. Beautiful views in front and back of the home! Everything we wanted/ needed was available at the house! So Appreciated!! Thank you for having such a lovely home to share!

My family and I spent a weekend at 9048 Shore Dr to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It was a perfect place for quiet and solitude. We played games, collected shells, and even saw a Bald Eagle. We would definitely stay here again. Ken G. and family.

My partner and I have come to enjoy the beach much more as a winter destination- with a deep appreciation for the quiet, the serenity, and the absence of biting insects. We booked a 5 day winter break for ourselves and we could not have been more pleased. I fell in love with Prime Hook, and the drive from the coastal highway alone was enough to lure me back for a future visit. The house has LOTS of sunlight and you can see water in all directions. My partner and I cooked some, and got dinner in Milford a few times. I also found Milford to be just as lovely. ZERO complaints from us!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and definitely plan to return! The location is beautiful, with water views from the front and back of the house. Short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise and stunning sunsets from the back deck. Great place to stay!

Beautiful spot with lovely sunsets off the back porch. Very quiet neighborhood and bay beach in January with incredible wildlife including snow geese in migration, birds, and deer. Home was very clean and well cared for. Table lamps for reading at night would be nice addition. Owner was responsive and great to work with and check in was a Breese. Highly recommend..
