Ti invitiamo a visitare la nostra pittoresca cittadina situata ai piedi della Lookout Mountain, in Georgia, a soli 20 minuti da Chattanooga, TN. Questa residenza privata si trova sul terreno dello storico palazzo Gordon-Lee nel cuore di Chickamauga, in Georgia.
I servizi includono 4 camere da letto, 2 bagni completi (King master suite al livello principale), cucina full size, soggiorno e sala da pranzo a pianta aperta, lavanderia, veranda con mobile bar e patio esterno. La casa è stata recentemente arredata e mantenuta meticolosamente pulita. Goditi gli splendidi giardini della proprietà e le visite stagionali al Gordon Lee Mansion, costruito nel 1847.
La casa si trova a pochi passi dal nostro affascinante quartiere del centro. Prendi il marciapiede verso una varietà di ristoranti e negozi unici. Assicurati di visitare Crawfish Springs, direttamente dall'altra parte della strada.
Guida 5 minuti attraverso la città verso Lee e Gordon's Mills per pescare o lanciare il tuo kayak / canoa nel West Chickamauga Creek. Non dimenticare di portare le biciclette e goditi un giro sicuro attraverso il campo di battaglia di Chickamauga, il più antico e il più grande parco militare nazionale degli Stati Uniti
I bambini apprezzeranno l'Olanda Watson Veterans Park, situato in città all'angolo tra Crittenden Avenue e W 8th Street. Il parco offre un parco giochi, un campo da basket, un campo da beach volley e un padiglione per i picnic.
Appena a nord del centro di Chickamauga sull'autostrada 341 troverai il nostro Coke Oven Park. Gli originali forni a coke di alveare e vagoni ferroviari del 1890 furono recuperati e restaurati negli anni '90 e da allora il parco è stato mantenuto e preservato dalla Città di Chickamauga.

Came up for my best friends wedding and this was the perfect house for two different families to stay in. We enjoyed it. Best part was telling our teens maybe the Gordon Lee Mansion was haunted next door and then trying to figure out the Intercom system to scare them. Didn't fully figure it out but the 15 year old was able to make it work for a min and scared the 17 yr old in his room. Best thing ever!!The place was very clean! Lots of room! If I was told to change anything it would be that the other downstairs bathroom have its own bathroom but we knew going into it how the bathrooms were set up!

Lovely property and well located. Close enough to drive in to Chattanooga for a day trip. Plenty of towels for our large group which was very much appreciated. Overall an exceptional experience.

Big home with lots of bedrooms

The house and location were very pretty and very historic. Lots of Cival War info at the Gordon-Lee mansion. There were some issues though. The house had sewer smell that would come and go and a musty smell. I bought candles to mask it. Lots of cobwebs in and outside the windows. The couches were dirty/stained. There were not enough chairs for the enclosed porch and none for out on the patio. A table on the patio would be very nice to have. We bought two outdoor chairs. We did not use the grill because it was dirty and rusted. Not very appealing. We bought and replaced some lightbulbs. There are still some needing to be replaced.
The most important thing is to note that there are brick stairs leading into the back porch (the home's point of entry) that are difficult to manage. There are no handrails. I realize that this house was not advertised as "handicap accessible" but it was still unsafe for the elderly in our group.The steps are narrow and high and the door is narrow.
We did appreciate the large kitchen and master bedroom. The living room was a nice place to gather. The TV is very small for the size of the room. Two of the bedrooms upstairs only have double sized beds and that was difficult for the adults who had to sleep up there! They were old and not very comfortable. I suggest they be replaced with newer queen sized beds asap. It was nice to have the one bedroom upstairs with twin beds.
The little town of Chickamauga was quaint.
