Boxwell Cottage Norman Castle Cottages Beautifully Renovated
I cottage del castello, recentemente rinnovati, si trovano in un sito del patrimonio, che fiancheggia un superbo castello del 1500 (Tower House). Butlerstown è di proprietà della stessa famiglia da molte generazioni ed è stato per molti anni il desiderio degli attuali proprietari di rendere la sua bellezza e tranquillità più accessibile al pubblico. Situato in una fattoria di 100 acri e boschi, nell'angolo più soleggiato dell'Irlanda, siamo a soli 10 minuti di auto dalla spiaggia più vicina. I cottage del castello hanno il loro Herb Garden e Lavender Haggard privati, e c'è un piccolo campo da calcio dove i bambini possono giocare. Buoni ristoranti locali, pub (come il pub / ristorante Lobster Pot), maneggi, campi da golf, musei e siti di eredità degli uccelli (come le Isole Saltee, North Slob e il lago Tacumshin) sono tutti facilmente raggiungibili. Asini e altri animali domestici e un orto gestito in modo tradizionale, un pozzo antico e altre caratteristiche speciali contribuiscono a rendere Butlerstown un posto unico.

This was a much needed break from life... in the US! And what a delight. Anna and Jim were more than hospitable and accommodating. I ran into snags with my car rental and had delay a day for arriving. They didn't bat an eye. The property is incredible! And the family's history with the land is just so special. i wish I had traveled with family and we filled the other rooms, but it was me and my pups who delighted in Pipa and Ollie and all the sheep... and our country lane walks! If I have reason to be back in the area this is my #1 pick! Thanks Anna and Ollie for a blessed, quite, restful week - albeit filled with loads of road time! Slainte!

It was like staying in a history book. The property and its history are amazing. The craftmenship in the restoration is really well done. We loved it.

Where do I start ? It’s the Best Holiday we have ever had. Just 15 minutes from Rosslare & Wexford, a perfect beautiful quiet tranquil home to enjoy the South East of Ireland. Our hosts Jim & Anna are the kindest most helpful hosts ever, we had a tour of the amazing castle, they even looked after our dogs so we could go to Dublin for the day, nothing was too much trouble. We loved our home which 7 of us stayed Limited WiFi which for a few days killed us but we grew to love not sitting on our phones, instead we fed the donkeys chickens sheep and had quality family time. Ollie the donkey and myself bonded and I’m going to miss him so much even though he kissed me and pinched my gold earring lol You need a car... we had 2 and we visited the lovely beaches towns church’s Pubs cafes castles restaurants theatres... we didn’t stop and was blessed with the sunny weather, but I’d go back in the winter with the open fire, warm baths, and cosy front room.This isn’t your standard accommodation, it’s special and we really can’t wait to return. Anna Jim Thankyou so much xxThis holiday was so important to us, bringing my mum back home to Ireland and it couldn’t of been more perfect xx
