Cute, comfortable cabins in quiet rural setting. Excellent food, farm to table. Beds were very comfortable. The lamb was very good. Location is close to Fjaoraglijufur canyon for a quick hike and makes a nice stop between Vik and Glacier Lagoon. Staff is very good and friendly.
Shower was a little tight.

Cute, comfortable cabins in a great location away from the main highway. Food is very good, farm to table. The lamb was excellent. Small stream runs by property and you are not far from the Fjaoraglijufur canyon.
As everywhere in Iceland, everything is pricey but here no more so than anywhere else. Quality was very good.

Amazing location. Very secluded.
The staff was actually receptive to our suggestions and didn't dismiss us for our ethnicity.
The rooms are a little old. And don't have great ventilation. The floors are smudgy. But nothing horrible.
The breakfast, however, was pathetic. Everything was packaged and processed, except for a few fruits. And no major source of protein provided. Not even eggs.
I don't know if it's a European or Icelandic thing, but not having a single fresh source of protein for breakfast is kinda disappointing.
