I have stayed at this hotel before because of its location which is ideal. The hotel was immaculate and very clean.
Not being allowed into our room until 3pm when there was only 4 of us staying in the hotel.
Also I’m afraid I just didn’t think the breakfast was good value. I had a full English which was really small with one piece of toast on the plate. I had to ask for sugar and was told they don’t leave it out as some people may be offended if they don’t like it!!!!

The staff were very hardworking and friendly, they helped with requests at breakfast. The room had everything we needed for a short break.
It was nice to have a bar.
The breakfast menu offered items which were not available and needs updating.

Very friendly staff keen to assist with check in and luggage. I appreciated being able to access one of the car parking spaces.
Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations, I was disappointed in the stay as it’s billed as a 9.8 rating and has won awards with the previous owners. The location was not great and a number of empty and abandoned properties made it feel unsafe. The breakfast was OK but not as depicted in the photos. We lost the lights in our room and it was not a priority for the hotel to fix, it was check out time so it wasn’t too inconvenient.
