excellent breakfast, nice localisation (close to the center accessible by taxi 1$ per person), adorable hosts who gave us some advise for visiting the island

sometimes we hear some traffic because the road is close, but during the night we just hear the sound of waves :-)

We stayed 5 days with my family in a standard room and in a private lodge. Since the moment we arrived we felt very well hosted by The team at the hotel. The location is very good, It was the best choice for the type of vacation we were doing, boat trips around the islands during the day, and enjoying restaurants at Bocas Town at night. The gardens of the Hotel are gorgeous and worth exploring, we dived into the pool every day. Everything well kept with lots of care. Cherry on top goes to the amazing breakfast Dama and Sharon prepared for us every day, with a lot of attention to detail, variations and food restrictions. Our family was delighted by the properties’ owners Sharon and Mark, lovely and very attentive couple that gave us all the tips to make our travel easier and our stay very comfortable!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar!! Our hosts were kind and welcoming and everything was very clean. The grounds are beautiful and breakfast was fantastic, including that they were very accommodating with our unique dietary needs. Wonderful pool and just across the street from a lovely, swimmable beach. Many other beaches are too rough for swimming. We also enjoyed just relaxing on the porch watching the ocean and swinging in the hammock, not to mention falling asleep listening to the waves. Sharon and Mark arranged a great boat tour for us and are a wealth of information for excursions around the area. It is very easy to get to and from Bocas Town with $1 taxis just outside the gate. I highly recommend Sand Dollar B&B if you are looking for a comfortable, friendly and quiet stay in paradise. We will be back!

Everything. The best location in Bocas del Toro, close enough to Bocas Town (only $1 taxi or 5' cycling) but not in the middle of the noise. Sharon and Mark were really kind and helpfull. They gave us great restaurants recommendations and even organized a private tour to Cayo Zapatilla. Breakfast is great and room views are stunning. We loved it.

We loved the nice, big apartment we got. With a big porch with chairs, hammocks and a dining table. They have a garden which looks like a jungle, we saw beautiful birds and even got to see a howler monkey. Every morning Sharon and a lovely lady from Bocas made us a delicious breakfast. Our little boy got spoiled too by getting his favorite fruits. They have a nice pool where you can cool off.

Everything was great, but we thought it was pricey. There were fans, no AC in our apartment.

The hosts were excellent. Perfect combination of hospitality and respect of privacy. They helped us find the fastest, cheapest and safest way to our next stop in Boquete (it was new and different than the route I'd researched on line). Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the cook( Duma??) gave me some aloe leaves early one morning when she saw my sunburn. Would definitely stay there again!

The hosts and staff were exceptional and welcoming. The property is well situated right opposite the beach for swimming and it was quiet in the evening. The pool area was a very nice place to relax with loungers. They have created a wonderful B&B and we hope to come back again oneday.

It was amazing 3 nights Sharon and Mark were amazing The service was very good the breakfast was great But the most important thing is the feeling that Sharon and Mark giving- is that you actually staying at "your own home " I'm fully recommending this place for vacation in Bocas Del toro

Wow! We loved the Sand Dollar Beach B&B. We were greeted with ice-cold beer and fresh-squeezed juice when we arrived. Kathy and Martine were excellent hosts. We had a beautiful room with an amazing ocean view from our balcony. The breakfasts were outstanding, with tropical juice and delightful homemade entrees. We stayed for 5 days and had a different breakfast each day. The beach is across the street with easy access. We had the pool to ourselves most days. Taxis were plentiful and cheap. $2 to go into Bocastown. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds of the inn are well kept and beautiful. It was hard to leave!

Easy to get transportation. Taxis were constantly going buy. Taxi prices were very reasonable. Nice pool area and we’ll maintained.

Dama was so wonderful and helpful! The Sand Dollar B&B is such a lush and peaceful Panamanian oasis. I never had to turn on my air conditioner and was lulled to sleep each night by the sounds of the ocean waves and jungle. I absolutely loved being here.

Super nice B&B. Location is great for a night out in the town or relax at the beach. Run by a lovely couple! They will give you all the inside tips to explore the island and the best food spots. Yummi homemade breakfast is served on the porch with a romantic outlook on the water.

Very spacious and clean room! The bed was very comfortable and the common areas were relaxing. We especially loved napping in the hammocks.

Water was shut off for one night without notice.
