The room was very comfortable and the treats such as scone and jam plus chocolates were great. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very attentive and pleasant. I will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Everything.Karen was an excellent hostess. She was friendly and warm as well. Had fresh milk, scones, biscuits etc waiting for us on arrival.Beautiful room with lovely bedspread. Bed was comfortable. Had all the toiletries we need. Breakfast was amazing: cereals, fruits etc etc and cooked food! Highly recommended!

The breakfast was superb. Everything we could have wanted, especially the fresh fruit, the range of condiments, excellent coffee and, in particular the very tasty cooked breakfast.

As soon as you cross the historic Greta Bridge and drive up the lane to Brignall passing the church, you know your stay at Lily Hill Farm will be very special. Sweeping views to the beautiful Teesdale Valley from the front and to the moors from the rear and a world way from the busy A66, literally a mile away, so great access to explore the area. A wonderfully warm welcome from Karen, including home made scones and biscuits. Superb breakfasts with a great choice to set you up for the day. The room was spacious with a well appointed bathroom and shower. The Teesdale Valley is wonderfully walking country and you are also within a short drive of the Yorkshire Dales and Richmond. Ciao Bella in the main square of this historic town is highly recommended. You don't even need to drive. There's a fabulous walk up the Greta Valley from the door, where you won't see a soul. A truly magical stay.
