1) Very quick responses in the WhatsApp chat -- for directions, instructions, invoices, etc.
2) This is a historical, old apartment-feel building. The room is newly renovated. You get one of the four rooms in the apartment. One can feel what it is like to live as a local Sicilian resident. A good pizza shop downstairs.
3) There is an old but usable elevator.
4) There is an AC, very useful on hot summer days.
5) They allowed me to store my luggage in the common kitchen area for two hours after I checked out.
6) Relatively good value for money.
1) This is an Airbnb, not a hotel. There are few hotels in the area, so most stays here are like this one.
2) I stayed for five days for a conference. When I needed the room cleaned or sheets/towels changed, the cleaning/changing fee was about 35 euros each time. So I ended up throwing out the trash myself and didn't replace the towels, etc.
3) Both the apartment and room doors were jammed and required sufficient strength to get them open.
4) You still need to climb the stairs to reach the elevator.

The location is really good, quiet and safe, you can find parking spots near the apartment. Big rooms, with a big shower and balcony. The host is really nice and open to help.
The air conditioning was not great, it takes some time until the room gets colder, especially in the Sicily summer heat. The apartment was not perfectly clean, especially in the bathroom, and the towels or bedding was not changed during the stay. Would appreciate more coffee pods, or a bottle of water on the arrival. There is no breakfast at the property, in case you select the room with breakfast, there is a common space with a kitchen.

My wife and I stayed here whilst travelling around the island. The room was super clean, incredibly comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Comfortable pillows for the first time. The location is situated in a lovely neighbourhood and only 25-minute walk right into the centre of town. Or just 5mins to the Metro. The host was also extremely helpful and responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy.
Nothing durig our stay - Perhaps a couple of glasses for the room.

comfortable bed, good location
needs new key cards; you have to get them just right to get in or use the electricity in the room
