Rooms well appointed and the staff were all amazing are really welcoming
The outlook from our room was advertised as garden view with illustrative picture. What we had in room 9 was a view of a 6 foot shrub covered in bindweed - it was quite oppressive. Similar outlooks are experienced in room 8 and 10. We had an 8 day stay and did not feel comfortable sitting on the terrace - completely let down the whole ambiance of the stay. Hotel owner was advised and they did get the gardeners to review the situation, but this is something that realistically will take a few months to correct, even in the climate of teh Azores.

The gardens, the quiet, the ambiance and decor.
The pool looked dirty around the outside, the outside area from our room only had one chair and no table. No privacy at all. The breakfast area is too crowded. When there are tour buses they should park at the back instead of taking guest parking in the front. My least favourite thing is how there is a very strong perfume scent in the lobby. Way too much - I felt ill

We got a free upgrade when we arrived and got the family room with two balconies and large bedroom. Check-out is standard at 12.00 O’clock.
Really overpriced. We paid over €400,- for one night, but what you get in return us definitely not worth that much money (even with the free room upgrade). The spa facilities are really small. The steam cabin and sauna are just for two people at a time.
