Very comfortable bed. Lots of dishes and utensils. Many towels. We were happy to have the garage. Enjoyed the music we could get on Pandora. Lots of detergent for washing dishes. Nice backyard, although noise from the busy street. Close to the beach. Close to town. We could walk all over. No spices except salt. The Direct TV didn't work very well at times. It kept spinning, especially on the weekend. We just went back to music, so it wasn't so bad. We really enjoyed our time there and would go back. Maybe next year!

The house was very nice and convenient, I love how close it was to the beach and just a 10 minute walk to where all the shops are at!! The bathroom was very nice. The house felt a little dirty, definitely can use a deep clean with the bed sheets and update a few things. But overall very cozy home for a trip has all the basics, I loved.

We booked our first trip to Pismo Beach hoping for the best. We had a great experience. The place was clean, location was great, and met all of our needs and expectations; including accommodating our two dogs. Pacific Vacation Rentals was responsive, prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend them, the place we stayed and can’t wait to come back next year.

Simple, clean, comfortable place to stay . Wonderfully close to the beach with a nice yard for our dog to run around while we ate our meals at the outside table with an ocean view. If your vehicle is too long it won’t fit in garage and street parking is very competitive.

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and it was great. The unit was clean and had all we needed. We had a couple of issues - the porch light was out and we were missing an ironing board, and the staff and handyman were very responsive. It is in a great location that is walkable to all the shops and restaurants near the pier and on Price Street. We loved having a washer and dryer in our unit. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

We loved that this location was quieter and a bit away from the bustle of the main tourist area, and having a garage meant we always had parking, even during the busy weekend. The small yard was a huge plus both for our dog and for hosing off all the sand after our days on the beach. And so close to the beach!!We cooked most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. When we did eat out we were in easy walking distance to lots of great choices. It was surprising to us that the place was stocked more like a hotel than a VRBO. We had to buy soap, shampoo, and toilet paper to cover our weeklong stay. Wasn't that big a deal - just different. The WiFi was really weak. The only way we could ever connect was to sit right outside the bedroom where the router was located. Again, not a deal killer for us since we had no desire to spend time on our computers, but it did make it hard to check in on important matters at home when necessary. In spite of any small issues, we absolutely loved our stay here and it would be our first choice anytime we visit Pismo Beach. I already wish we could go back!

Property was nice and quaint. The only real issue was crossing the street to the beach, but that's not on the home itself. I'm used to staying closer to the boardwalk, but the quiet at night was a really good trade. Would stay again.

We were very comfortable in this little duplex. We had to bother the office about the TV, but we probably would have to no matter where we stayed. We had quite and we were close to everything. It had a small yard for our dog. It did have a problem with the doors and keys. Very hard to open, because the doors were swollen.

House was clean and close to all. Loved the yard,it was perfect for the dog. The only negatives,were that after reporting the porch light being out and the tv not working in one room,Tuesday before Thanksgiving,neither were ever fixed,although we were told it was to be done the same day.

My wife and I rented this home for a 30 day stay. The location is superb being a few blocks from the ocean and adjacent to Hwy 1 in Pismo Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, however, if desired, the hustle and bustle of the tourist/resort atmosphere of downtown Pismo Beach is only a 5 block walk. This little home has everything you will need: 2 bedrooms w TV's, fully stocked kitchen, lovely appointed living/dining area, a fenced-in grassy side yard, an inside garage and much much more. This is also close to Hwy 101 allowing numerous day trips to San Luis Obispo, Hearst Castle and all of the surrounding beach towns of the central coast.

Only issue was that we had no control over the heating which did come on at times. So it was a little cold at times. Only issue with booking was that, despite the property being described as allowing dogs, I was not informed about the $100 "pet fee" until after I had made the reservation through VRBO. This was not mentioned anywhere in the listing, and I was informed about it when the rental company called me. By that time, we had already made the decision to bring the dog, and wished they were more transparent about this item.

We spent a summer month here and enjoyed the local areas. The home has a nice yard, which our dog loved. The home is a bit rustic or basic with some attention needed to furniture and decor. The location is nice. You can see he ocean from the patio and easily walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. (Old West Cinnamon Rolls and Splash Cafe have lines out the door. Their food is worth the wait. Woody's at the pier has a nice beach side view.) There is a lovely area just north with a beautiful bluff walk that leads t a park. Don't miss this view! Also, there are many local hikes. We enjoyed the Bob Jones Trail and Avila Beach as well.

We attended the Pismo Beach classic car event in June, 2014. This was the only property that would allow our dog. Pluses: property within walking distance of the show; had a garage and wi-fi access; washer and dryer available for use; kitchen properly equipped for meal prep; property management very friendly, efficient and professional. Although functional, items in house very dated. Reasoning was because it is pet friendly. This house had one bathroom. We are use to two bathrooms and that was tough. Linens could be replaced--pillows were so flat there was no fluff in them so bring your own if you can; old sheets, blankets and bedspreads. The house was clean for our stay. Would we rental this property again? Maybe.

I believe it imitates from the crawl space not having proper vapor barriers. Under the kitchen counter was absolutely filthy with stuff growing! I living room furniture was smelly and soiled. The windows were an absolute mess. The garage, being the first impression is a smelly, filthy mess. I spent 8 hours just cleaning one day so the place would be habitable. The smell was lessened but never did go away. The owner needs to remove the metal/wicker rack over the toilet, it is rusted and has not been cleaned in what looks like years. The washer and dryer, while functional are old and extremely noisy.
