Very well located, spotless and with some food provided which was amazing since we got to the property late and had no restaurants open. The landlady also provided a parking clock for free parking which helped us save a few quid.

Lovely location and very quiet even though it was right beside a pub and main street which was very busy during the day. Very warm and cosy welcoming cottage.

The mattress could have been a bit more comfortable and bathroom amenities could have been added. A box of tissues would have been nice!

It’s location was good but it did mean traffic noise was a real issue. A good use of space and well presented.

Traffic noise as mentioned above. Smell of damp quite noticeable when entering the property. TV remote not working. Bath waste slow to drain so water ankle deep when showering. Also no small shampoo or other toiletries supplied which seemed mean and finally you can only open the bathroom window upstairs.

it was a good location close to amenities. clean and tidy.

smaller than expected. no outside space given it was pet friendly. given the size and outlook we felt it was a bit overpriced for four nights.

Excellent location

The location within Lymington was excellent

The town centre location was excellent as was the King’s Arms next door to the property- good beer & food.

No courtyard or outside space for rubbish etc, no washing machine, the log burner as described is actually an electric fire. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, a thicker mattress topper would have helped. How about some coat hooks behind the door? Two dishwasher tablets for the week’s stay!!

Very near station and High Street, also the quay. Traffic a bit noisy but worth it for excellent location. Lovely clean and comfy cottage, everything you could need was there. Would especially like to thank Sarah and also Chloe for their kindness and assistance with our queries. Lovely gesture from owner to leave a bottle of bubby in fridge for our arrival, with a nice card, thank you. Good central heating for colder nights, very cosy. Living room/kitchen area really sweet. Shower great, bathroom and bedroom lovely. Wi-Fi great. Great view from bedroom of the harbour and boats. Would definitely recommend Starboard Light for a Lymington stay.

Traffic, as mentioned above, but no real biggie, was quieter at night, and we got use to it.

A very creative use of the space and very tastefully decorated. Perfectly located for a short stay in Lymington, pretty much all amenities within walking distance.

There is nothing we didn’t like. If you’re taking a dog, it’s worth knowing there is no private outdoor space but it didn’t make any difference to us.
