Perfect location where everything is happening. Great view of the hovercrafts coming and going.

Hotel is directly opposite the Hovertravel station and is a short walk from the Ryde Wightlink Ferry, and is also close to the bus stops. It is very easy to drop off your bag and then catch a bus elsewhere on the island. The staff were very friendly and helpful, storing my luggage before check in, and after I checked out. The staff were very flexible and polite about check in time.
The room had a great view onto the street and overlooked the ocean, was a decent a size and an en-suite. It also had pillows of various firmness which was a nice touch.
The sink in the bathroom was very small, and it meant I had to use one of the teacups to fill the kettle with water as it couldn't fit under the tap. Not a negative but a point of note, the hotel is above the pub, and the pub opens at 11am and closes around midnight. If you happen to need to leave luggage very early, or need to collect luggage late, keep that in mind, as the staff will leave outside of opening hours. The cleaning staff were in before the pub opened, so they were able to store my luggage at 9am, but if you have anything scheduled that requires you to check out very early, keep that in mind.
