The hotel is close to the end of the valbona-theth trail. The view from the hotel is superb, the perfect place to watch the sunset. The room was a good size, and the bed comfortable . It had a fridge which was convenient. The selection at breakfast was small, but I managed to find things I enjoyed (especially the little doughnuts). It was a short walk from other restaurants and the place where buses depart to shkoder. The food in the restaurat was delicious! We ate there both nights as we enjoyed it so much the first night.

The bathroom was a bit small. There was a door for the toilet, but no door for the shower area, and as the roof was sloping, it was awkward to move around. There was the option to pay in Euro or Lek, but as they use their own exchange of 1 Euro = 100 lek, it was more expensive to pay in Lek. I would recommend bringing Euros.

Very nice hotel with great views. Staff very helpful. Very nice structure, blending something classic with something modern. Great breakfast with local specialities. Very good position for hikes or simple strolls in the nature. Will gladly come back again!

The hotel is well located, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival, we were encouraged to pay for our stay in cash and in euros. As we did not have enough cash in euros, the alternative offered was to pay by card in Albanian lek, but at a higher price. In the end, we paid almost 10% more than the original amount stated in booking. The room itself was not unpleasant, but it was not very practical. The sloped ceiling made it difficult to move around comfortably, especially when going to the bathroom, and the shower area had no door or proper separation from the rest of the room. There was also no hot water available for a shower in the morning. Another major issue was the heating. The radiators and the air conditioning did not always work properly, and the room became very cold during the night. The windows only had very thin, transparent curtains, which meant a lot of light came into the room at sunrise. During our two-night stay, the room was not cleaned or serviced. Breakfast was quite basic. The only coffee included was pre-made coffee served from a pot, which, in our opinion, was very poor quality. Any other coffee drink ordered at the counter had to be paid for separately.
