Noise from connecting house. Connecting door needs to be sound proofed.

Great view of the lake. Location is excellent if you have car. Good kitchen and utensils. Room is comfy. Staff go out of their way to support whatever you need.

Open showers make it cold and difficult to keep it dry. Mattress isn't flat...maybe it's getting too old. It's not easy to wash dishes in the bathroom's sink but ok. Apart from that...everything was good.

Night light for outside steps is .needed. Tripped up in wet and dark. Noisy mattress protector. Bed too soft for us causing roll together.

Lounge are was very impressive as it offers a large scree with projector. So, go for entertainment.

One couch should at least be comfortable to sit on. Otherwise a great place to stay. Quite and comfortable.

Bit too much furniture making dining a little tight. Projector was an overkill. A fan would have been nice. Access to laundry facilities would have been good.

The studio was in a peaceful location, very private and the view was stunning. Having supper on the patio was lovely. Both nights we got to witness wonderful sunsets. The alteration of the walk in wardrobe (I'm assuming) to a kitchenette was really clever and it had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The bottle of water in the fridge was appreciated. Superb WiFi and TV. Amazing shower and toiletries. Lovely sheets. Good comms with the owners although we didn't get to meet them. The studio was pretty good value for money, we paid more than we are used to but we found all accommodation in Taupo quite expensive.

Headboard banged against the wall, that's something I guess no one wants. Neither of us found the mattress particularly comfortable, that's the first time that has happened in 85 days of travelling. Using the washbasin in the bathroom to do the washing-up wasn't ideal but it worked. The room gets direct sunlight and the weather was hot when we were there. For me, the fan wasn't enough.

It was awesome to have the projector and even though the owners stayed up stairs it felt like we were there alone as they left us to enjoy our space.

it was nice and quiet everything you needed in a cosy apartment

with the weather being so muggy we are use to aircon the fan just wasn’t enough

easy carparking away from the tourist centre but still close Tv/projector wifi

only an electric frypan - I had to get creative to cook meals. even a stirfy needs rice kitchen cupboards were annoying to access and would clang every time they were opened windows open for fresh airflow but there was someone smoking so I had to keep closing it then it got too warm inside with only 1 fan

interesting doing the dishes in the bathroom sink, and could hear the owners next door as the studio is a bedroom, bathroom, with some small appliances.

This property ticked the most important elements in my opinion: the owner was incredibly kind and professional and the place was spotless clean. The location is perfect, just a few meters from the town centre and the lake. Overall I would recommend Studio 28 :)

It's not very easy to cook a proper meal. BUT considering how lovely the owners are, how great the price is, how clean the place is and how easy it is to get to town...not having a cooktop is a very very very very small price to pay.
