Perfect location

A wonderful hotel styled in an old-fashioned, historic way, making you feel as if you are staying in a museum. And in fact, that is exactly what it feels like. Starting from the beginning: there was constant communication with the hotel representative, clear instructions on how to get there, and the possibility to drive right up to the hotel to unload our luggage before moving the car to the hotel’s own parking area. Having a coffee machine downstairs near the reception, as well as one in the room, only added to the positive experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town. Breakfast is buffet-style, and we really enjoyed it. The room itself, as I mentioned, feels almost like a museum. Only the bathroom breaks the illusion, with its glass, modern fixtures and shiny chrome...

There is a sauna. However, it has room for exactly one person to sit. ))) Don’t waste your time on it — better spend that time enjoying the city.

The staff are just wonderful, so helpful when my suitcase broke (!) and also terrific with tips for dinner locations in town. Location is spot on, just up the alley from the Clock Tower and Vlad’s house. Really nice bed!!
