So close to the beach, Walker easily and could see and hear the ocean from the great deck. Had everything we needed and it was walking distance to a local shop (Surfside Loco) for beer, wine, trinkets, beach stuff, bathing suits, towels, and fresh, organic, free range eggs. My only complaint isn’t about the house but that the beach is drive-on and it’s not just a drive on and park thing, people legitimately drive up and down and it’s kinda dangerous but people like it, I guess lol. It’s just not for me and there is a pedestrian beach just west of the main road into town. It’s not a dealbreaker just letting other parents know. We really enjoyed ourselves and had plenty of the necessities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, detergent, trash bags - there was even coffee, tea, and bottled water for us). We had no complaints - the house was spotless and had awesome beds and pillows! I was very cozy at night.

The property was beautiful and so clean. Proximity to the beach was great. We had great beach weather. However, the electric was a mess. The microwave didn't heat, the coffee pot didn't work. When we used the cook top the electric upstairs had a decrease in power. When I used my blow dryer the lights in the master bath dimmed. I would stay here again if the electric got fixed.

Nice place. Very well appointed. Microwave didn’t work - wouldn’t get anything hot. Lights/electrical would flicker and “brown” out.

The house, the location, the communication with Vacasa was perfect! We extended our stay a night because we didn't want to leave. When I needed to get in touch with Vacasa, it took less than two minutes for my problem to be solved. I would definitely recommend this place and DEFINITELY stay here again!

Everything was great! Only negative comment was one of the upstairs bathroom doors would not stay shut and floors felt dirty but they could be just the way it is being that close to the beach. Was happy all toiletries and bath towels came with the house and loved the use of the washer and dryer!! Big plus!!!!!

This house is beautiful, super clean. Excellent location and a great little community. I would recommend and stay as often as possibly. So so clean.

The house was clean and had everything we needed. We really have no major complaints and are pleased with our stay. The down stairs toilet shoots water out of the bowl when someone flushes the upstairs toilet. So, avoided using the downstairs toilet if at all possible. We also had a cockroach visit the living room on our last evening. However, that was the only one we saw.

We had a great time at Surf Side Beach. Sea Salt was the perfect size for our family and had all the necessary things we needed for a comfortable stay. It was our first time staying at this location and had no clue to how small Surf Side was as a beach village. Would have been helpful to have known that groceries was 15+ minutes away and to plan accordingly. All in all, we were looking for peace and relaxation and that is what we found.

We had a blast swimming, fishing, sunning, sandcastling, and relaxing. The beach is accessible via a short walk down the small street in front of the home. Bring your own drinking water. The faucet water is fine for cooking and bathing, but you'll need bottled. Water for drinking. We loved the place!

Home was clean and there was a walking bridge to the beach close by. Bike path along the side of the home. Enjoyed privacy that Vacasa provided.

We drove from DFW and this was the perfect getaway. Surfside is the perfect quiet beach town. We had direct access to the beach and our kids loved it! Short drive to Galveston or Lake Jackson. Everything you need is within 10 minutes away! Will be visiting again!

We drove from DFW and this was the perfect getaway. Surfside is the perfect quiet beach town. We had direct access to the beach and our kids loved it! Short drive to Galveston or Lake Jackson. Everything you need is within 10 minutes away! Will be visiting again!

The house was beautifully renovated & had so many perfect little touches around the house.
Especially if you have pets, this place is great. They provided a water bowl to have at the house or take to the beach, as well as dog waste bags. It was very thoughtful!

The house was nice on the inside. The waster is yellow and salty when taking a shower. The grass was a little high and did have stickers, so be careful walking in the grass. The price was a little high for yellow salty water and spotty wifi. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. You just have to get there early to get a spot. The beach was clean. It would be nice if they had a grill.

My family and I stayed for a week and enjoyed our time a lot. There was room for all teens in the bunk room and the mattress in the main bedroom was comfy! Lots of towels and all the toiletries and toilet paper helped to make the stay easy!
The location to the beach is perfect! Easy and quick walk even with hands full. The last day we drove up the beach to be more secluded as the weekends do get busy but the weekdays were perfect! Combined with day trips to Galveston and the week was so relaxing.
Only recommendations… new pots and pans with new serving utensils would be good. Also extra pillows for all beds would have been great. As we flew in from out of state, having access or beach chairs would have been amazing.
My kids would have loved the toys in the bottom locker area. :)

Sea salt is a great home to escape to. The interior is nicely decorated and the porch is a great place to have your morning coffee. This home is just a short stroll to the beach. Very enjoyable stay!
